General Information

Art by Bryan, CG by Suna

Age: Unknown, looks to be in his very early 20's

Height: 5'9"

Weight: Appears to be in the vicinity of 180 lbs

Fighting Style: Tegatana-Au-Houyoku, his unique brand of fighting; and his own exclusive style for weapons, Senshinheiki Jiko-Ryuu

Mecha: Orbital Frame, Anubis model. Upgraded and remodeled slightly.

UCTF Theme: "Change the World" by the Offspring

Anubis's Theme: "White Reflection Nova" from the Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz OVA

Description: Bryan has a subtly attractive angular face and figure. He has a lean, yet muscular build. And although he might not look it, he has a fierce combative ability. The color of his hair is a highly reflective silver, with pale amethyst-colored eyes. His hair hangs down slightly past his shoulders, in rounded spikes and slight waves.

His outfit consists of a large white vest, trimmed with black, that matches his oversized black collar. Over that he wears a loose white coat with widened sleeves allowing for ease of movement. On the back of the coat is a large 'balance' character, matching those on his sleeves. Large white pants complement that, along with a pair of black ninja footwear.

History: Check the 'History' section.

Additional Info: In his new incarnation, Bryan prefers to not use magic, but martial arts. He is proficient in the use of a huge amount of weapons, and will not hesitate in exercising his knowledge. He does what's necessary to get the job done, and give the audience a good show, on top of that.

His fighting style he assembled with experience from countless other styles he learned during his travels, selecting carefully each aspect. He makes sure to stay away others while he's training, lest he seriously injure someone. Bryan prefers to fight on equal ground, with his hands and feet, yet he will resort to using extreme force when necessary.

Tegatana-Au-Houyoku is style that involves a lot of movement, and the main skill involved is interrupting and turning opponent's attacks against them. Fluidly, Bryan can move about the ring, seemingly weightless, and jump out of danger, usually to jump off the ropes for a flying kick/punch. It resembles Capoira much in execution of combos, only they tend to be more airborne.
Whenever the need be, Bryan will unsheath his flamberge, HimizuKazetsuchi, and engage in the fight, switching between Tegatana-Au-Houyoku and Senshinheiki Jiko-Ryuu.

The mecha, or in this case Orbital Frame, Bryan pilots is the Anubis. It was a gift to him from his best friend, Hazama Itsuru. The Anubis was a radically advanced Jehuty model, though it had six wings, and a jackal's head and tail. Anubis carries a battle-lance, instead of a short-range sword as Jehuty does. This frame also houses a hyperspace drive, enabling it to move near the speed of light, giving the impression that it can teleport from place to place. After an incident in space (colliding with a Capsule Corp. ship that got thrown off course), Bryan hauled Anubis back to Hazama's garage, and remodeled/upgraded it. It possesses all of Jehuty's capabilities, and then some (a tricked-out sound system in the cockpit, for example), as they are two twin Frames. The Anubis also houses a navigational AI to supplement pilot ability. Its (or her) name is Isis. She can be helpful, if not annoying, constantly spouting out battle stats.

Bryan has a friendly demeanor, and if anything, is a bit too passive. He's very easygoing and enjoyable to be around, especially liking being in the company of beautiful girls and those he respects. Bryan enjoys friendly competition, thus he was compelled to sign up for the UCTF.

Bryan owns a Potions Shop, which has been known to suddenly spring up in different places at any given time. He carries a full line of every known magical herb, item, and spice, as well as enchanted weaponry and armor. Just don't ask for Love Potions, they tend to be untrustworthy.

When forced into a situation he cannot handle by normal means, Bryan dips into the darkness that resides within him. He goes into a berserker rage, his clothes darkening to near-black, hair turning to purple (like his fury-state as General Amethyst), with red-glazed eyes that give off flames. The characters on his back and sleeves literally bursts into black, purple-tinged flames, and a dark cloud hangs about him.

Talents: Cooking, potions brewing, weapon-making, summoning, mediating disputes, and getting sucked into numerous stories for not much reason.

Tegatana-Au-Houyoku style

* = Denotes techniques that Bryan calls out the name of in execution.

Basic Moves / Maneuvers

Tengukaze Drop-
Bryan kneels down into a sprinter's starting position, then dashes forward, knocking his opponent's feet from under them. While his opponent is still in the air, Bryan jumps, and uses the ropes to richochet back, contorting in midair to drive his elbow into his opponent's back, knocking them to the mat even harder.

Dorufinkikku-
Bryan somersaults over his opponent in the style of a dolphin, thrusting both feet into his opponent's back before flipping once more, and landing.

Kiritateru*-
A splitform technique, useful for when surrounded by unfriendlies. Bryan phases out, reappearing simultaneously at the four corners of the ring, slashing with a flat palm towards the center of the ring, knocking opponent(s) into the center, momentarily dazing them. It's purpose is to clean house if surrounded, used as a set-up for the Hidama-Taihou.

Kensei-Enmu-
Defensive maneuver. Bryan crosses his arms in front of himself, bracing for the impact of an attack. When it connects, Bryan only receives a portion of the intended damage, dispersing into a mist. The mist jets to the other side of the ring, before swirling upward and forming back into Bryan.

Ranrantaru-Ryuudan*-
Focusing his energies, Bryan twists his fingers into a series of knots, then sends a flaming ball of pyrokinetic energy at his opponent. Upon impact (of the target or not), the ball explodes, affecting those nearby.

Dendou-Renpatsu-Uchinuku*-
His fists crackling with electricity, Bryan fires off a rapid series of punches, each delivering an electric shock.

Tatsumaki Lariat-
Bryan spins rapidly on one foot, unleashing a flurry of punches and kicks, ending in a roundhouse kick to the side of the head, knocking the opponent to the floor.

Hiryu Suplex-
This technique is used to interrupt an opponent who is in the air. Bryan launches himself upward, intercepting them in midair with a belly-to-belly suplex from 15 feet up.

Signature Moves

Hitoare-tsume*-
Energy technique. Bryan gathers ki into one fist, then shoves it forward, releasing a purple talon-shaped ki projectile. Can be charged up to various strengths.

Ko Hitoare-Tsume*-
Intermediate-stage projectile. For use in air or on ground. Bryan swipes upward in a counterclockwise motion, his arm extended out fully (he starts with the right arm), throwing off an arc of ki in the shape of a wing. This can be followed up in rapid succession by an additional projectile using the left arm.

Kyodan Hitoare-Tsume*-
Not a projectile in the common sense. Bryan charges his fists up with ki, slamming them together as if to perform the Igai-Jinrai. Instead, what follows is somewhat of a 'fireball explosion.' An explosion in the shape of a giant phoenix head, which can be held in place (trapping and... well... beating down the opponent) and last for a full minute. He lets go of his fists, the energy burst dissipates.

Daidan'en Hitoare-Tsume*-
The final projectile. Every good fighter needs one. Drawing his hands back, focusing energy between his palms, ala the Shinkuuhadoken. Pushing both hands forward, palms out, Bryan fires a beam of ki roughly 5 feet in diameter, headed by a giant phoenix shaped of ki. Can be used in air, on the ground, fired upward at an angle, and such.

Igai-Jinrai*-
Bryan claps his hands together, summoning a deafening thunderclap to stun his opponent for a few moments, or to interrupt/interfere an attack.

Hidama-Taihou-
Bryan leaps a good 30 feet into the air, gathering ki into his palms. When the desired amount is reached, Bryan launches himself down at his opponent in a forward-thrusting kick, surrounded by energy. After connecting, the ki Bryan gathered up in the air fires downward at the target. Even if the kick doesn't connect, the projectile still fires, although a bit easier to dodge.

Ichido-Karyuu-Garandou-
One-time (per match) attack. Bryan releases a black orb of energy from his hands, flinging it at his opponent. If hit, the opponent is trapped in a void severely difficult to escape, which tends to be a little inaccurate. If it does hit, then what comes next...

Super Arts

Seraphic Judgement-
Three pairs of pearly-white wings erupt from Bryan's back, lifting him into the air. Beams of light congregate into orbs his palms. When he closes his hands upon them, the balls of light explode, forming a golden scythe. With otherworldly speed, Bryan slashes in rapid succession, tearing clothes to pieces, and severely lacerating his opponent. The wings then fold in on themselves, disappearing. Bryan falls to his knees, severely drained.

Ashura Madness-
Similar to the 'berserker rage' described in Additional Info, though Bryan controls every aspect of this Super Art. A cloudy black aura surrounds Bryan, as his eyes flash red. The symbol on his back and sleeves start to literally burn, sending up smoke and flames as they burns brightly. Using a Hitoare-tsume to knock his enemy into the ropes, he launches himself and clotheslines them in midair, and before they can hit the canvas, Bryan knees the small of their back, sending them up into the air. Bryan phases out of the ring, and back in above the airborne opponent. He flies downward, intercepting them with a double-handed blow, knocking them down again. Bryan phases back down to the ring, picking up his battered opponent. He launches into a Lariat Repeater, ended by a ki-powered flat-palmed strike to the chest instead of a roundhouse kick.

Senshinheiki Jikoryuu style

HimizuKazetsuchi, Bryan's signature weapon

Brief Note: This style brings more light upon Bryan's darker and more sadistic side, from which he now draws his power. This plays into how he fights when using these techniques. He's much more determined and grim while using a weapon. Bryan uses a variety of weapons. From kusari-gamas to taloned gauntlets. His main weapon is his flamberge, HimizuKazetsuchi, which can change form depending on what element is dominant at the time.

Basic Sword Techniques

Tsuji Hayate:
Bryan dashes foward, low to the ground, then slashes upward, raking the blade up the front of the target.

Do Kienzan:
Improved version of the Tsuji Hayate, only Bryan rolls forward, adding additional slashes.

C -> R:
Bryan jumps at the opponent, grabbing their shoulder with one hand, and kicking them in the abdomen with both feet. He then jabs the sword through their midsection, and leaps backward to where he started.

Delta A:
Combination aerial/land technique. Bryan leaps back at a 45 degree angle, then flips and changes direction, driving his sword into the opponent backward, then leaping forward and landing where he started.

S by P:
Bryan jabs the opponent with his sword with rapid strikes in a circular motion directly ahead of himself.

R.M.:
Bryan crouches when near the opponent, then leaps upward at a 45 degree angle, driving the sword through the target, and dragging them up with him.

Youso Henkan:
Energy swirls around the weapon, which begins to glow. Its form changes, based on which Element is dominant. The kanji for which ever Element is becoming dominant glows, and the weapon turns into another Elemental form.

Fire- Flamberge (default form)

Moetsuku:
Upon use of the technique, the flamberge's blade bursts into flame. Bryan can discontinue the flame with a mental command.

Ryoukan:
Aerial technique. While in the air, Bryan slashes downward/beneath himself, producing a giant fiery arc.

Hibashira:
In an upward-sweeping slash, Bryan's sword produces a pillar of fire that homes in on the intended target.

Water- Chakram

Kisousei:
An attribute of the chakram. After being thrown, or even knocked away, they buzz through the air, and back into Bryan's hands.

Kappa Smash:
Producing an aquatic aura around himself, Bryan charges shoulder-first into his opponent, before delivering a kick to their midsection.

Gufuu-Jiten:
Bryan slashes with both chakram around himself in a top-like motion before letting go. The chakram spin around him rapidly, making a small hurricane to disorient opponents, interrupt an attack, or deflect an attack.

Kessui:
Bryan slams a chakram into the ground, throwing a wall of water up between himself and his opponent, as if to block an attack. Yet afterwards, Bryan throws one of the chakram through the wall towards his opponent.

Wind- Bladed gauntlets

Oufuuken:
Slashing with both gauntlets in an X-pattern, Bryan throws off a gust of wind which can knock an opponent back.

Kazeninoru:
Concentrating energy between his palms, Bryan fires a projectile that, when it contacts, traps the opponent in a contained tornado, spinning them around in the air, flipping them, and generally disorienting them.

Oni Naburi:
Bryan jumps forward, rolling in midair. If he lands close, he executes a slash. If he lands very close, Bryan executes a throw.

Kazeyoke Interrupt:
To interrupt an attack or combo. Dashing forward surrounded by a whitish aura, Bryan uppercuts his opponent squarely in the jaw.

Earth- Scythe

Gengetsu-kiru:
A rapid slash with the scythe, trailing a silvery aura from the blade in the shape of a crescent moon. Can be coupled with up to three more slashes for a 4-hit combo.

Daijishin Tsukisasu:
Ramming the butt of the shaft into the ground, Bryan causes an earthquake, shaking the immediate area severely.

Gyakuten Tachikiru:
In dealing with a basic sword, Bryan spins around one side of the blade, right up in front of the opponent. He bashes his opponent in the face with the shaft of the scythe, before slamming the shaft down onto their wrist in an attempt to knock away their weapon.

Dio = Cega:
Bryan forms the scythe into a buzzsaw-like weapon, hurling it in whatever direction he chooses.

Nero = Fautica:
Slashing backward, Bryan connects with the opponent, encasing them in a red ki bubble. He attacks it repeatedly, the opponent immoble. He then slashes through the bubble with the scythe, tearing it open and causing a bit more hurt.

Ira = Spinta Axe Cut:
Bryan jumps up into the air, fliping rapidly and using the scythe for a blade. He flies down at the opponent, slashing them viciously.

Ira = Spinta Throw:
From midair, Bryan jabs opponent with the shaft of the scythe, then lifts them up, swinging them over his head, and jamming them into the ground. Upon contact with the ground, Bryan grinds the shaft into their midsection.

Super Arts:

Kirisute Gomen (Flamberge):
Bryan dashes forward as HimizuKazetsuchi bursts into flames, spinning the sword in a counter-clockwise circular motion, hitting several times before executing an uppercut to finish it.

Purova = Dei = Cervo:
Scythe technique. Bryan drives his scythe down into the ground. From the scythe, a large hand formed of blood springs up. It grabs the opponent, slams them into the ground repeatedly, then slaps them onto a large document written in lost runes, which rolls up and returns to Bryan's grasp. Bryan rips the document in two, releasing his battered opponent to fall onto the mat.

Finale = Rosso:
Scythe technique. Bryan drives his scythe into the ground. Multiple hands of blood reach up and grab the opponent, dragging them into a subworld of demons, where they are hit repeatedly for major damage. Then they are spit back up into the real world.
